I have since learned they no longer do this, but it’s cool to see them grow and change. My hubby surprised me and invited all of my friends to dinner tonight- a great birthday surprise! Their burgers are my favorite in the state next to Diablo Burger and I can’t believe how many beers they’re brewing now. They have so many! I loved the Baboquivari with the Downtown burger. This burger had fresh guacamole, pepper jack, onion straws, and chipotle ranch. I’m nearing my 2 year anniversary of running this little corner of the internet. Hands down Little Miss is my favorite BBQ place in Phoenix. 🙌 The Texas-style bbq makes me teary. It reminds me so much of what I grew up with. When brisket has that delicious bark and beautiful pink ring, I know it’s gonna be good. 😋While there’s still a wait at both locations, the new location you’ll only wait 30 minutes to an hour whereas the OG location is usually 2-3hours. I can promise you it’s worth it and the staff makes it a fun experience. 🍗The nice thing about the new spot is you can order drinks while you wait from the bar. So many of the bigger chains have lackluster food and no local beers. Roadhouse breaks this mold- the food there is delicious and they have a local first menu. Movie tickets are not a premium price like at the Harkins Camelview, but at Roadhouse you get the same reclining seats and better food. 🍿I enjoyed their homemade hummus with pita bread and their drinks. My hubby loves their cantina bowl and it’s super filling. Other favorites I love are there chicken strips and fries, their burgers and pizzas. Save room for dessert! But now after visiting, I get it. Disney thinks of everything when it comes to the experience. I think I was most surprised how all the parks were spotless. No trash or litter anywhere. Then it’s all the little details, from shaded areas and well designed worlds, to Mickey shaped eats- like this massive croissant cinnamon roll. Served warm, I ate the whole thing. I got it because I didn’t want to share 😈 There’s a coffee shop near the Kilimanjaro Safari. I recommend stocking up there before jumping in line. Chicken and beef is prepared over a wood fired grill giving it a smokey flavor. I loved the chicken with noodles, veggies, and herb sauce. This was a great pick me up after walking around in the park. Pro tip: On the kids menu at the Satu'li Canteen are the cheeseburger steamed pods. I really loved exploring Animal Kingdom- it’s heavily shaded and has all kinds of Mickey shaped treats. It’s a foodie paradise! 🌴 First up was the rum dole whip. Tangy sweet pineapple soft serve served with coconut rum. This is absolutely delicious and a must when you go to either Disney World or Disneyland. Every thing we ordered was colorful and had so many unique ingredients. The bean spread had all kinds of pickled veggies- my fav being the beets. 🍴The smoked salmon dip is smoked in house and I love having that served with the crisp apple. 🍸🥃I loved both of my cocktails- the Amaretto Sour and the Agua Caliente. The highlight of the night was the venison medallions with salty tasty broth and a medley of vegetables. 🌱There were these little dandelion things that were herbal and tasted so good with the meat. Social Tap located in downtown Scottsdale and this weekend is opening their new rooftop bar. It has lots of cozy seating area and it’s perfect for grabbing a bite with your friends. Whether you’re coming in to work (like I did) or just having brunch, the ambience is great. They have live music and cozy couches- also dog friendly!
